Nex Playground - The Active Play System for Kids & Families Where Indoor Physical Activity Meets Interactive Family Fun and is Great for Gaming Nights, Parties and Playdates

Nex Playground is built around a straightforward idea: turn the TV area into an active play space without adding a large piece of exercise equipment. It connects to a TV or projector through HDMI, then uses a built-in wide-angle camera to recognize natural body movement. That makes the system a strong fit for families who want children and adults playing together rather than taking turns with handheld controllers. The decor angle is practical. Nex describes the console as small enough to sit on a console or mantle, and its compact form can also travel in a backpack for playdates. That gives it a less intrusive role in a living room than many dedicated activity setups, although the games still require enough clear space for players to move safely. Five games are included: Fruit Ninja, Starri, Whac-a-Mole, Go Keeper, and Party Fowl. This provides an immediate starting point, but buyers should make the library decision before purchasing. The broader catalog and new monthly content require a separate Play Pass, so the system is most compelling for families that either enjoy the starter games or are comfortable treating the subscription as part of the ownership plan. Up to four players can participate simultaneously, which supports family game nights, parties, and playdates. The content is presented as family-friendly, with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no mature content. The supplied information also states that Nex Playground is kidSAFE+ COPPA certified and that motion-tracking data is not stored or processed in the cloud. Overall, Nex Playground resolves a specific purchase need well: it offers a compact, shared, movement-based gaming format for homes that want more active indoor entertainment. Its main limitation is not the play concept but the catalog structure. Buyers should choose it when the physical, social format matters most and the five-game starter pack—or optional Play Pass—matches their expectations.
